Muddy Monday – Monday 29th September
Get ready, everyone — Muddy Monday is back!
On Monday 29th September, we’ll be rolling up our sleeves and getting stuck into a full day of outdoor work as we winterise the school grounds. Every child, from Reception to Year 6, will be involved — and we’d love as much support as possible.
Please send your child to school in scruffy clothes that you don’t mind getting muddy, along with wellies or old shoes, and (if possible) gardening gloves, a trowel, or even a small wheelbarrow if you have one spare!
We’ll be clearing leaves, tidying beds, spreading mulch, turning compost, and preparing the outdoor spaces for the colder months. It’s a brilliant chance for the children to take ownership of their school environment, learn about teamwork and nature, and enjoy some good honest graft.
If you’re available to lend a hand, even just for an hour or two, we’d be incredibly grateful — just let the office know.
Let’s get mucky together!
