Pearl Of Africa - A Sensational Performance!

The Pearl of Africa Children's Choir visited, inspired, and WOWed us all!  The day was great success with performances and workshops in school, followed by an amazing performance at the Town Hall, with our own school choir, All Saints school choir, and The Euxton Ladies Choir.

The children, from a Ugandan orphanage, came to our school, and All Saints', to perform workshops and demonstrate their superb dancing and singing skills..... all in the name of fundraising to help raise fund funds for their school.

All 250 of our children were enthrallled with the talent of the young people; and thoroughly loved listening to, and playing their drums.

The P.O.A choir - 14 children aged between 11-18, along with their teachers, then watched Ice Age with our Late Stay children, enjoyed their evening meal with us, then we joined them, and All saints' at the Lancastrian Suite in the Town Hall for the evenings fund raising entertainment! We had stunning performances from the choirs of All Saints', St George's, Euxton Ladies Choir and the POA children's choir!

Their was barely a dry eye in the room - of over 200 people - as all Choirs sang acappela You'll Never Walk Alone.... it was stunning!

And above all; we raised over £2000 for the Pearl of Africa.

You can see the photos from the day by clicking here........and below is the mp3 file of the choir singing You'll Never Walk Alone, for you to download and enjoy. We hope to have the Disney Medley here for you soon.  Happy listening!
