W.E 10th February - Enjoy half term!

No slowing down as we approach half term...

Anticipation is high for the 2 finals we're in on Thursday 9th February. Year 3/4 start us off in the morning, with Year 5/6 taking over in the afternoon! Do your best kids - can't wait to hear all about it!

Class 7 have been continuing with their sculptures in Art. They have made clay plinths for their sculptures working together to discuss and make their final pieces. Hopefully we’ll be able to paint them later this week.

The whole school celebrated Candlemass, each child went home with a candle giving light to all and celebrating the work and life of Jesus. Falling exactly 40 days after Christmas, Candlemas (or the Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary) was observed as the official end of Christmas in medieval England.
