Class 6 is taught by Claire Dugdale and supported by Jonny Robinson and Julie Hurst. On a Wednesday afternoon, class 6 will be taught by Mrs Turner who enjoys an afternoon of French and music. .
Children have an opportunity to change their reading books each morning, please continue to read with your child on a daily basis. This could be listening to them read their school book to you, you reading a story to them or talking about a book together. If your child sees you enjoying reading to them it is more likely to instil that love of reading for them too.
Spellings are set on a Friday and tested on the following Friday, please continue to use Spelling Shed to help. The response in class 6 has been amazing to spelling shed and then children regularly ask me to check the league tables. I have also noticed an improvement in the children's weekly scores and their ability to apply in their writing.
PE is on a Friday afternoon - please make sure your child comes to school in their P.E kit, they will stay in these clothes all day so please make sure they are wearing appropriate clothing weather dependent.
Your child has been given a blue folder, which contains all the log in and password information for a range of learning resources. Please ensure that this is in school each day so that we can use it in lessons. This should come home again each night, so that your child can access homework, such as spelling shed, timetable rockstars and My Maths.
