It is 'World Kindness Day' on Monday, so let's share some meaningful words from some wise folk about kindness:

"No act of kindness, however small, is wasted." Aesop

"Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does." William James

"You will never have a completely bad day if you show kindness at least once." Greg Henry Quinn

A message from Mr Horne

Thank you to all those who signed up for the Dragon FM Club. The sessions will run each Monday until the Easter Holiday. If your child has been signed up, you will be informed by email before the end of the day.

As we close this week and look towards the vibrant promise of next, I am reminded of a lyric that speaks to the journey we are all on together: "Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness."

These words echo our ethos at St George's and indeed Wrightington Mossy Lea, where every lesson is a step towards understanding, and every day is an opportunity to grow. Let us continue to foster this culture of awareness and support, cultivating an environment where our children can thrive in knowledge and kindness. Thank you for walking this path with us, for your unwavering support, and for the community you help to build every day. Together, we are not just teaching our children to read and write, but to live and dream.

All the best,

Andy
