🌟 **Reflecting on the Fourth Sunday of Epiphany and the Conversion of St. Paul**

St. George's and Mossy Lea Families,

As we enjoy the fourth Sunday of Epiphany, a season rich in revelation and insight, our thoughts are drawn to the transformative journey of St. Paul, a beacon of change and conviction. His conversion, a moment of profound enlightenment, reminds us of the powerful impact of faith and the capacity for personal transformation.

This week, let us reflect on the themes of revelation and transformation that Epiphany and the story of St. Paul bring to us. Just as Paul experienced a moment of clarity that reshaped his path, we too are invited to open our hearts to new understandings and perspectives. It is a time to celebrate the journey of growth and the potential for change within us all.

In our schools, we witness daily the small yet significant transformations in our kids – moments of learning, understanding, and compassion that shape their young lives. These moments, much like Paul's journey, are steps towards greater wisdom and empathy.

As we embrace the lessons of Epiphany and the story of St. Paul, let us also look inward and consider our own paths. May this week inspire us to seek our personal epiphanies – those moments of insight and understanding that guide us to be better learners, teachers, and members of our community.

Together, let us celebrate this time of spiritual discovery and growth, looking forward to the wondrous revelations that await us.

With warm regards,

Andy

Thank you so much for the chickens, and baskets for the Easter Bunny dash. I really do appreciate it, and it's one of the little things that makes the school what it is. We've had a massive donation for this year, which gets us over the line.... but please keep knitting, and sending in, and we'll store them safely for next year.... its nice to have them in!

Last week, Year 4 had the History Squad in for Viking Day. We were able to experience lots of replica artefacts and even hold a real spear head artefact from 1800 years ago!

Some of our Y5 Eco group were able to visit St James' School for the Get Growing Event today. We got loads of free seeds and soil, and found out all about the best plants to grow in school time.

This week's new Dragon FM podcast will be up on Spotify imminently (15.1.24) . This week we interview a special guest to the school who grew up in a castle thinking he was the next King of England, we discuss crop rotation success in China and receive updates from Ethos Group, School Council and Eco.

The Dragon FM DJs and I are extremely grateful for your support and excitedly announce that our Spotify audience now stretches from the UK to Arvada, Colorado!!

Please like, subscribe, share with family and friends!

CONFIRMATION - will take place 7pm, Thursday 11th July this year, with Bishop Philip. If you have a child in Year 6 or above who would like to be confirmed please email Glenys Bradley (glenysbradley@icloud.com).

Dogs on the playground. We allowed dogs on the playground during COVID, and there were no problems - and it's lovely. Obviously, though dogs need to be kept on a lead, and any toileting cleaned up! Thanks

PGL and Bibbys Payments. Can you please keep the money rolling in, and if you haven't paid a deposit, can you please do so.

Easter lunch is 27 March

Both menus are now on SCOpay, as an attachment, and as a daily choice. Infant kids, you need do nothing. Junior kids, if you want the lunch then sign up on SCOpay before this weekend if possible then Leanne can order the food in.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone, take care, stay stress free, and enjoy the moment.

This weekend, can you pop on the parentapp lite app please and check you details, and consent forms are as you would wish them to be. Quite a few kids don't have permission for food tasting, and facebook appearances. Clearly I don't mind, but I wouldn't want kids to miss out if this is an oversite, or you've changed your mind. Just check the app please.
