As we embrace the fifth Sunday of Epiphany, a time of revelation and profound understanding, we also humbly celebrate the achievements reflected in our recent SIAMS report. This accomplishment is a testament to dedicated staff, superb kids, and yourselves who together create the nurturing and vibrant community that is the heart of our schools.

The SIAMS report has highlighted the strengths and values that we cherish, affirming our collective efforts to provide an enriching and spiritually uplifting environment for all.

On a personal note, I will be taking a break starting after school on Tuesday next week, due to personal reasons. I will return as normal after half term.

As we head towards the half-term break, I wish each and every one of you a happy and restful time. May it be filled with moments of joy, relaxation, and family time. Your unwavering support and commitment to our schools never go unnoticed, and I am deeply grateful for the sense of community we have nurtured together.

Let's carry the spirit of Epiphany with us – the spirit of discovery, understanding, and the light of knowledge – as we step forward into the remainder of the school year with renewed energy and enthusiasm.

Thank you once again for your continued support and understanding. Wishing you all a delightful half-term break, when it comes

Andy

The Japanese has a lovely word, "Otsukaresama." Superficially this word means "you are tired," but looking at the word more deeply it is used to encourage, and to express gratitude. Used in the morning Otsukaresama is a way of wishing people all the best for the day, and to encourage the hard work the day may bring, in the afternoon it is used to recognise people's effort, and at the end of the day Otsukaresama is used as a sign of support and appreciation. Otsukaresama encourages us to voice our heartfelt thanks, and i would like to do that now. May I say "Otsukaresama" to all staff for their cooperation, compassion, and passion this term,  may i say Otsukaresama to you for all your support and well wishes, and may I say Otsukaresama to the kids for all that they achieve and for all of their efforts.... it really is incredible.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Andy
