As we conclude the dance to the rhythm of our final week before the half-term break, I'm reminded of the words of a song that's as uplifting as our school spirit, "Here comes the sun, and I say, it's all right" (The Beatles). Indeed, as we wrap up this half-term, we're basking in the light of our collective achievements and the warmth of our community's heart.

Looking back, we've shared laughter, learned lessons, and lifted each other up, creating a melody of memorable moments. And as "the sun will come out tomorrow" (Annie), we look forward with optimism to the start of Lent when we return, embracing the opportunity for reflection, renewal, and growth.

In a playful note, let's consider our journey this term as an episode of 'The Masked Singer'. Just like the performers beneath their dazzling costumes, each day our students and staff reveal their talents and surprises, showing the world the unique brilliance they hold inside. It's a reminder that sometimes, the most wonderful revelations come from where we least expect them.

As we prepare to take a well-deserved break, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your continuous support, enthusiasm, and the love you've shown. Your participation and dedication are the chorus in our school's song of success.

So, let's hit the pause button on our busy schedules, take a breath, and enjoy the half-term break with our families and loved ones. May it be a time of relaxation, joy, and rejuvenation for all.

Thank you for a fantastic half-term. Here's to coming back refreshed and ready to sing a new verse in our school's ongoing melody. Wishing you all a happy, healthy, and harmonious break!

With heartfelt thanks and anticipation for the melodies yet to come,

Andy

Further to the internet safeguarding above, I've added a Parent Portal of loads of useful stuff that apparently we buy into! It does look good, and is similar to "my family coach." Follow this link to go to the page, it does look useful in helping navigate the varied path of being a parent.

Parking at front of school

Just a reminder that the front of school needs to be clear of cars at all times, especially during start and end of school. We've noticed that there has been a little increase in cars left on the pavement, especiialy in the mornings. I've spoken with Woodlands Nursery as well and believe it will be going on their newsletter as well. Your cooperation and understanding that it unecessarily increases the chance of an accident is appreciated.

Thank you!

Sickness and Diarrhea

If your child is unwell, we ask that they remain off school untul 48hrs after the last episode of sickness. This prevents spread of infection in school. I know it's an inconvenience and difficult but I appreciate your cooperation.

Warm Wishes to His Majesty King Charles III

Supreme Governor of the Church of England - Wikipedia

As a Church of England School, we hold close the values of compassion, community, and prayer. It is with these values in mind that we extend our heartfelt wishes to His Majesty King Charles III, following his recent cancer diagnosis. As the Supreme Governor of the Church of England, His Majesty's leadership and dedication to our nation and faith are deeply appreciated. We join together as a school community to offer our prayers and thoughts for his swift recovery and continued health. May this challenging time bring strength, healing, and the support of those near and far.
