A massive well done to our Super Hi-5 netball team who have given their all over the last 3 weeks. The improvement in your match play each week has been wonderful to see. I am proud of all of you. Rain or shine you have shown yourselves off. 😀 (err.... it was mostly Rain, but good fun nevertheless!)

Y6 made the most of the sunshine today & took their revision outside for a trail 😄

I have been updated on the Bees over weekend gone from the Calvert Family. They report St Gs bees seemed very chilled compared to other day.  At St Gs a new brood box has been installed which gives the new queen more laying space (good for swarm prevention). They also added 3 supers which gives more room for honey storage ( also good for swarm protection).

They also help us out at Mossy where they split the bees into 2 hives so both new hive and old hive have loads of room, again reducing the chance of swarming.

The Calvert Family really support school in continuing their management of the bees - I ma incredibly grateful.  Everything looks really good and we are now in a really healthy and good position for a great Honey Harvest.

Alright, listen up Year 6 crew,
I've got a message that's straight from the truth,
You're facing a test, it's coming up quick,
But don't you worry, don't you quit!

You've got this, I know you do,
You've worked hard, your skills shine through,
Believe in yourself, don't sell yourself short,
You've got the ability, and that's a sure report!

You don't need luck, you've got the power,
To ace that test, hour by hour,
Be confident, be proud of who you are,
And you'll go far, you'll go far!

Remember what the Bible says,
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart," he displays,
He'll guide you through, every step of the way,
And you'll succeed, come what may.

So put on your game face, be bold and be brave,
And let your confidence lead the way,
You're destined for greatness, that much is true,
So go ahead and show the world what you can do!

May I conclude with a gentle reminder to supervise your kids before 8.45am. I know one or two of you do use the MUGA, which is ok, but you must be supervised - children cannot use the MUGA in the morning without adult supervision. For those of you who do require morning care we do have breakfast club that is open from 7.45am. Staff take responsibility from 8.45am.

Have another great weekend folks.......
