FROM THE PTFA - IS THIS YOUR THING!!?? TEATOWELS!? ITS A NEW IDEA, BROUGHT BY NEW MEMBERS OF THE PTFA, AND IT LOOKS LOVELY. WHAT A GREAT IDEA, I MUST CONFESS I REMEMBER MY MUM AND DAD GETTING ONE, MANY YEARS AGO NOW.

Order forms will be coming home this week for our Personalised Year Group Tea Towels. When ordering the tea towels, your child’s picture will be the centre picture, so if ordering for more than one child please do it under each child’s name.

There are also other lovely gifts available to order such as tote bags, mugs and coasters.

Closing date for ordering will be 19th June.

As well as being a lovely keepsake, the school benefits from every purchase made so Thank you in advance for your support!

Welcome to the final half term with us, bursting with exciting events and activities! Our calendar is brimming with Sports Days, the much-anticipated Summer Fair, a dedicated Focus PE week, testing, enriching trips, and captivating curricular hooks. Additionally, we’ll witness the excitement of our general school council elections on 5th July, fostering civic engagement and leadership amongst the kids. As we dive into this vibrant term, we echo the sentiment from Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

I’d like to extend heartfelt gratitude to our wonderful kids, dedicated staff, and supportive parents. Your combined efforts and enthusiasm create a nurturing environment where our children can flourish. The bond we share, working together for the benefit of our children, is truly remarkable. Let’s embrace this final term with positivity, unity, and a commitment to making it memorable and successful. Thank you for your continued support and let’s make this term the best yet!

As we conclude this newsletter, our thoughts turn to the inspiring legacy of Rob Burrow, the rugby legend who recently passed away after his brave battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Rob's final words serve as a powerful reminder to us all: "In a world where you can be anything, be kind." He also imparted wisdom with, "My voice may be fading, but my message is not. Live with hope and cherish every moment."

Rob's strength, resilience, and kindness reflect the very values we strive to instill in our school community. As we embark on our final half-term together, let's carry forward his message, embodying the spirit of compassion and hope in everything we do. Our collective efforts—staff, parents, and children—create a nurturing environment where everyone can flourish. Thank you for your continued dedication and support.

Wishing you all a peaceful and joyful half-term.
