Imagine a shimmering, starlit path unwinding before us, twinkling with the promise of wonders yet to come. This is no ordinary path, but the magical trail of Advent, leading us towards a season filled with joy, hope, and heartwarming surprises.

As we embark on this magical journey, each day is like a delicate snowflake, unique and full of potential. Just as a snowflake joins with others to blanket the world in a winter wonderland, each day of Advent brings us together, weaving a tapestry of shared moments and cherished memories.

In the classrooms of St. George's and Mossy Lea, echoes of laughter and the rustle of creativity remind us that the true spirit of this season lies in the heart of our community – in every helping hand, every kind word, and every shared smile.

As the Advent calendar's doors open one by one, like windows into a world of wonder, let's embrace this time with the wide-eyed wonder of our children. Let's find joy in the simple things: a story read together, a shared joke, or a walk under the winter sky.

Let's journey together down this starlit path of advent, with hearts full of anticipation. For in the end, it's not just about where the path leads us, but the magic we create along the way.

Wishing you all a delightful and wonder-filled Advent, Andy

Being a first follower, and allowing others to shine, is often as impactful as being the leader—it transforms a lone voice into a movement. This week, our staff exemplified this beautifully as they supported Carol in leading us through the Forest School assessment. Forest School, inspired by Scandinavian outdoor education principles, is rooted in fostering holistic growth through hands-on experiences in nature. This ethos aligns seamlessly with our vision at St George’s, promoting resilience, creativity, and well-being in our kids, while also providing our staff with an inspiring model of teamwork and leadership. Carol’s dedication has laid the groundwork, but it’s the collective commitment of the team—the first followers—that ensures this initiative takes root and flourishes. Together, we are cultivating not just skills, but a legacy of curiosity, confidence, and care for the natural world that will enrich every corner of our school community.
