Christmas Fair.

It was a massive ask for the PTFA, with experienced members lost, and new members joining us, to pull off such a fantastic fair. To be honest, Id have been grateful for anything, as I know the PTFA are in a period of transition with members. Im so grateful for all that they do - not just because of the income they bring in, although they have just paid for the Pantomime in January for us all, but more so, the atmosphere they bring in. It tremendous.

Once again, the Christmas Fair was a resounding success. A massive thanks to all the PTFA who really pulled together and worked tirelessly to make this happen. Thank you so very much indeed.

They really were busy bees, at a time when they’re also busy at work, and at home. Thank you. Everyone. The atmosphere was fantastic and I’m sure that you will agree it was a great way to kick off the festive season! On behalf of the PTFA and all the staff here at school, I would like to take this opportunity to also thank you for all your support. Without this, such a successful and enjoyable evening would not be possible. The grand total raised was just shy of £3700 – superb!

We could do with a couple of new members with a bit of time to give to help with the organisation and planning of the fairs. If you are keen, or willing to join the PTFA team then please come and speak to either Laura Thomas, Gail Wright, or Michelle Angus and come along. You're never "dumped on" with things, its always a team approach - we would just be grateful of a few more hands.. We do need you!

The change to infant lunches has worked really well this week. Thank you for your cooperation. Please remember to order your child's lunches at least 1 week in advance. This allows the kitchen to place their orders for ingredients. It does help the kitchen for juniors to order in advance but they are welcome to order on the day if needed.

Our lunch menu is repeated every 3 weeks so it is worth talking to your child about which meals they have or have not enjoyed for when you next order.

As the festive season marches towards us, we take this opportunity to reflect on the progress we have made as a community. This time of year highlights the significance of kindness and support, as emphasised in Matthew 5:16, which reminds us to "let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

Let us strive to exemplify these values through our actions, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all. As we look forward to time with family and friends, let us also reaffirm our commitment to strengthening the bonds within our school community. Thank you for your continued dedication and support, and have a great weekend, Andy
