WE 12.9.2025

Process it all - don't take it for granted. Its worth noting. Its been curricular hooks in many classes thsi week - take a look at what's been going on....

This week, year 6 experienced what it was like to be an evacuee. We had to keep our tags on so people know who we were and when the air raid siren sounded, we had to get to safety. We kept morale up by listening to some Vera Lynn and investigated some WW2 artefacts and children’s games.

Look out for Stevie Chann on Facebook - a Thrive coach. He's here to help. He gives some brillinat free advice....

Class 5 walked into a classroom filled with strange noises and many items all linked to our new English book. The children explored them all before making predictions. I wonder if anyone is correct…?

Class 3's metaphor.....

🧩 Welcome to Class 3… you fit right in!! 🧩

🧩Yesterday afternoon we had so much fun doing jigsaw puzzles of our faces. Together we make a class, where everyone is part of the puzzle 🧩

Our year 5 and 6 girls played in their first league matches tonight. (For some it was the first time they’ve ever played football) They showed resilience and grew in confidence as we played our 2 matches. We may not have won our games but we learnt a lot and kept on trying. Well done girls. Thank you parents for your support. (and thank you for organising so soon in the school year Jenny - Andy)

An exciting morning in class 3. We came in to class this morning to discover a mysterious door had appeared in class. We’ve made lots of predictions about who, or what, might live behind it…! Mrs Fell 🐭🧚🏻🦁

My thanks to all staff involved in executing such amazing stuff so soon in the school year. Brilliant
