Class 5 walked to the Cenotaph on Astley Park this afternoon to read the Remembrance poems we wrote. The children looked at the wall of names of the fallen soldiers and the wreaths that had been placed. The children were respectful and showed themselves off brilliantly. More will be on Seesaw.

Reception children are enjoying a very special live session with the amazing author Michael Rosen this morning. They are listening to his wonderful performance poetry- we especially enjoyed his famous ‘Chocolate Cake’ performance.
