Year 2 had a visit from Karen and Fiona from the Lancashire Fire Service yesterday afternoon. The children learned about what the fire service is used for, good fire and bad fire, the importance of working smoke alarms at home and what to do if a fire should start at home. They asked sensible questions and answered questions about what they had learned.
Well done everyone.
What a wonderful start to our ‘Cook Stars’ after school club. We had so much fun measuring our ingredients, following instructions and baking our yoghurt muffins. The children worked hard and had loads of fun. A great experience for all! Roll on next week when we attempt our first savory dish of the half term! Mrs Fell & Mrs Dawson

Hello Class 7!!
Mrs Leap and I have had a MARVELLOUS
idea for tomorrow.... here's a few pictures... I wonder if you can work out what our idea is?
Class 5 started the day in a Space inspired classroom as a hook to our new topic. There was live footage of the ISS on the screen, a rocket tent, space books, WR codes to footage of space walks, space jumps, the first moon landing, a spacesuit costume and other activities! What a morning!!

Happy New Year everyone.
We have all enjoyed being back at out of school club and having lots of fun ![]()
