Welcome to Class 6,
I hope you all had a lovely half term and managed to have fun, get some rest and enjoyed spending some time together as a family.
Thank you so much for the support you gave with homework over the last half term. The children brought in an impressive collection of work which they enjoyed sharing with others during our Homework Share.
As always, I am really excited about what we have planned for our learning this half term. Our topic is ‘What secrets give the Iron Man his power?’ I love the story of The Iron Man and our work in English, and also in some other areas of the curriculum, is linked to this story. In our ‘Moving Monsters’ DT work, we will use an egg box when we create our design. We do have some egg boxes in school. However, we would be grateful if you could send in an empty egg box for your child to use. We are also excited about learning Spanish with Mr Holmes during this half term.
