In the run up to the Summer Fair (Monday 6th July) we have 3 non-uniform Fridays planned—19th June (alas, that's today!), 26th June and 3rd July. In return for the children coming in their own clothes we ask for contributions for the school fair.

For those of you new to the school, it runs like the Christmas Fair; we do not charge any money for the days, but ask if you would mind supplying us with bottles, clean re-useable, or new soft toys, books, games, chocolates, toiletries, or any prizes that can be used for the tombola stall. 

There will be details shortly of how you can help both in the run up and on the evening itself.

The PTFA are great - to be honest I've worked with some wonderful PTFAs, including the current one. I remember fondly the 1st PTFA I worked with at St George's, very different to our current one, but equally lovely.

Some members of our current PTFA will be looking at leaving us after this Fair, so I really would welcome a fresh, new group of people who are willing to work with school to lead the PTFA. You can bring your own ideas, your own skill set and do it your way.... there's no need to follow in the footsteps of the current PTFA. So, if you're interested in finding out more, then come and meet the PTFA, in the new year, and help take it in your direction. 

For now, please diary the Date of the Fair, and note the non uniforms that have come upon me quite quickly, the 1st one being this Friday!

If you have any spare time  to do a little baking we would really appreciate it,

Please drop of before or after school or event during on Monday,

Please make sure your tubs are label with your Child’s name ( as we can get them back to you) and you send in a detail ingredient list,
