Forest School activities are taking a wonderful, magical effect around school - can't thank Carol enough for all the effort she has put in to making this such a joy to be part of - really, its magical. 

Year 5 Forest School started this afternoon with a bit of den building followed by arts and crafts. Fantastic afternoon!

Year 5 have made the most of the sunshine, estimating and measuring capacity of liquid. A great start to the half term!

Class 6 - have our Forest Schools Taster sessions starting for Group 1 children tomorrow. Please remember to send children in with suitable clothing for their outdoor work. (Children in Group 2 will start their Forest Schools Taster sessions on 14th May.)

Children in Group 2 will be starting our DT work tomorrow afternoon. Our DT topic is 'Sandwiches'. It would be a great way to begin this DT work by looking at a range of different sandwiches. If you are able to, could children in Group 2 bring in a small sandwich (which is not part of their lunch!) made up of any kind of bread or filling.

We are looking forward to some exciting work each Wednesday!
