A fabulous end to a wonderful week for Year 6! Pizza in the sun
What a week Year 6 have had!
They have been phenomenal throughout and have shown nothing but determination, confidence, perseverance and resilience. Every single one of them has had a fabulous attitude and has shown themselves off. I hope they’re all extremely proud of their achievements as I know all of St George’s most definitely are.
“Yes I can!” —— YES YOU DID!!

Forest School Year 5
Group 2 kicked off their Forest School sessions with a spot of den building in the glorious St George's sunshine (other sunshines are available). Great team work, everyone!
Class 6 began their DT work by analysing sandwiches. They showed super scientific knowledge of food groups to decide how healthy different sandwiches are. They enjoyed eating them too!
Class 4 have had a great morning at our visit to the Mayor of Chorley. We learnt about the role of the mayor and see all the regalia that is worn.
We’ve spent the afternoon exploring the areas, conducting science experiments, standing in giant bubbles and making volcanoes, snow & slime !
Year 1 have LOVED their trip to Imagine That!
Class 6 prepared the sandwiches they had designed using bread from different European countries.
It was great to have a picnic in the sunshine to see how tasty they were!
Year 6 playing maths traitors in the sunshine … can they figure out who the traitor is in their group? Will they get the questions correct?
