Let’s take a moment to hit pause on the whirlwind and soak up the brilliance of the week just gone.

Let’s take a moment to hit pause on the whirlwind and soak up the brilliance of the week just gone. From small sparks of kindness to great big fireworks of achievement, our school has been a hive of hustle, heart, and high-fives. Whether it’s sporting triumphs, classroom breakthroughs, or just those magic everyday moments—this week has had it all. So, without further ado, let’s roll out the metaphorical red carpet and celebrate the little legends of St George’s!

We did a full day at Quad kids which looked amazing - well in everyone. (I've created a photo gallery of the event)..... but well done everyone you smashed it, even if you didn't win - you turned up, you were brave..... you smashed - gettin kids.

Anne Fothergill says about Year 5/6 Quad kids

What a great group of kids! Competitive and supportive of each other!

We are proud of you all!

Kodey Burns came first in the individual boys🥇👏🏻

Sorry there are not many photos - I was distracted cheering you on!

Mrs Leap shares some photos from the year 2 event this morning. Team St George’s showed lots of skill and detetmibation in all the events. An amazing morning with a lovely group of children.

Ange Makepeace says about Year 3/4 Quad Kid.....

What a fantastic afternoon we’ve had! The weather was brilliant and so were all 10 of our kids. They showed confidence, determination and team spirit in all of the events and it paid off!

Savannah Thompson came 3rd in the individual girls competition and team St George’s also came 3rd overall. A massive well done to you all 🌟

Amy Bolton was brave and launched her reception craft club - Reception craft club began tonight for group 1. It was brilliant to see them all get stuck into making their keepsake. Well done group 1 🌟

Mark started the cricketing club, which looked ace on the Muga.

🏏🏏 Year 5 and 6 cricket club🏏🏏

A great start to the club, today. We practised our fielding: getting to the ball quickly, returning it to a target, throwing and catching. We then looked at bowling technique and accuracy and ended with a game of cricket.

Some fantastic bowling and batting and great 'spirit of Cricket' with lots of positive encouragement by all.

Next week, we'll focus a little more on batting and I'll remember to take the i-pad onto the MUGA so I can get some photos.
