Behind the front door...... W/E 28.11.2025

Let's have a look whats been going on behind teh front door this week
Gone for it.... against my better judgement, Christmas arrived.
.

Class 5 have been busy.
Rob from Konflux Theatre Company in partnership with Chorley Council, came into school to work with classes 5, 6, 7 and 8. He did interactive work shops based upon recycling and the theme ‘What goes around, comes around.’
Class 5 had a great time and got fully involved. Videos are on Seesaw.
Parents Evening.
Parents’ Evening
The coat pegs stand in silent line,
While books lie open, page to spine,
And chairs a tad too small for grown
Become the stage where pride is shown.
The classroom hums a softer tone,
Of voices not quite quite, not quite lone.
A buzz of chats, a gentle swell,
Where stories of the school day dwell.
From early scribbles to neat graphs,
From painted hands to times-tables maths,
The work speaks loud, the smiles say more—
Of effort, hope, and dreams in store.
A glance exchanged, a knowing grin,
A parent’s heart lit bright within.
You see your child, not just their name,
But all the ways they play the game.
So thank you all, for being here,
For showing up, for drawing near.
The greatest gift a child can see,
Is family and school—walking in unity.
