Year 6 were very lucky to take part in a live lesson this morning with Olympian gymnast Max Whitlock. We practised our different shapes and then learnt the steps to perfect a hand stand. He then showed us some Olympic moves.

📚🌟 Don't forget about our half termly reading challenge, you still have plenty of time to submit your entry 🌟📚

📚 Half termly Reading Challenges! 📚

As 2026 is the year of reading, we have decided to run a reading related challenge each half term. The challenges will go on the newsletter and be posted on Facebook.

It would be amazing if we could get as many children involved as possible. All entries to the challenges will be celebrated in school and displayed in the library.

Please feel free to share within WhatsApp groups.

For more information on this half terms challenge, please see the newsletter or attached picture. Feel free to take part in the challenge with your child!

We can’t wait to see all of your entries!

⚽️ Our football team should be immensely proud of themselves, they have played some amazing football today and played against some tough teams. We remain the best team in Chorley and that can’t be taken from the great group and all those others who contributed to our matches. Well done boys. Thanks to Chorley School Sports Partnership for their support today and in training. And finally thank you to our supporters today, the encouragement and mini team talks were perfect. Lancashire School Games Lancashire Football Association........ and I love this comment from James McVittie about the team, James McVittie says
