This afternoon, KS2 had a brilliant and engaging session with children’s author and illustrator Jen Carney!

They found out about her life as an author and we had a sneak preview of her new book. Then, the children had a go at being illustrators themselves!

Street Dance after School Club

Year 3-5 Boys

All who signed up, have a spot!

The club starts this Thursday 26th 15:15-16:30. It will run each week of this half term.

Please remember to send your child to school with either their PE kit or an appropriate sports kit and a drink.

Dismissal will be from KS2 playground at 16:30.

PE timetable for this half term (sorry it a bit small.) Class 4 and 7 have PE on Monday starting this week.

We have a busy half term of sports events with Chorley School Sports Partnership. Please keep an eye on emails as this is how information about competitions/festivals is communicated and a prompt reply is much appreciated to help with the organisation of events.

We will be taking part in the KS2 cross country competition on Saturday 21st March. Lunchtime running club (muga mile) will take place during each week leading up to this. Pop trainers in your bag if your shoes aren’t comfortable to run in, as this will be a bit weather dependent to keep safe. I know some of you have been doing your own training already by attending Worden Park junior parkrun.

A group of year 4 children took part in a glow dodgeball festival tonight. We had a great time and showed lots of our school values and were voted by other schools as the team who demonstrated the School Games value of Passion! Thanks Chorley School Sports Partnership.

And we went to Jodrell Bank with Year 5..... 

Oh, and we've been dancing as well - That was good fun..... At Bolton Town Hall. We got a little trophy, but to be honest, we're not sure what for! Judges Choice!
