I guess the finish line may be in sight for the summer holiday....... but we're steadily cantering along right now with lots of learning still to do, lots of curriculum still to cover, and lots of work still to do. I am so proud of what we do here, in fact, I must confess to being so proud of Primary Education across the country. It's amazing what kids as young as 4, and no older than 11 can do - really quite admirable. This week....
Class 8 had a great time this afternoon making a digestive system to show the journey our food takes in our bodies. Well done class 8, you asked some great scientific questions too.
13 children from school represented St George’s at the Chorley Ssp schools swim gala and aqua splash festival. What an amazing night of talent across the Chorley schools! Many of our children came 1st or 2nd in their heat and should be really proud of themselves. Luca won his individual race and our aqua splash team came second in their events. All the children received their certificates today in celebration assembly. Well done everyone and thank you parents for supporting us from the balcony on a very hot night.
class 5 visited the mosque.
They showed off their knowledge, listened carefully and found loads of similarities to the Christian faith.
