A very very exciting week!
Young Voices – Absolutely Phenomenal! πΆβ¨
Last night at the Co-Op Arena, our Young Voices choir did something truly special. They didn’t just sing—they filled the space with energy, passion, and pure joy. It was phenomenal. Seeing our kids up there, singing their hearts out alongside thousands of others, was a reminder of just how powerful music is—it unites, it inspires, and it creates memories that will last a lifetime. They were incredible, the atmosphere was electric, and the experience was one they’ll never forget.
A huge thank you to the staff who made it happen, the parents who supported, and most of all, the children, who showed once again that when they step up, they shine. St George’s—you absolutely smashed it! π€π
The trout for year 2 are thriving. Year 2 - I have just been in to check on our trout and make sure the automatic feeder is working and still has food. The trout are doing amazing! They have all used up their food sacs are are no longer alevins but have developed into Fry! They are feeding well and swimming up to the surface to look for food, gaining strength and growing each day. It’s now time to name them all!! We have 90 Fry so each year 2 child has 2 names to choose each - remember our challenge was to name them all beginning with the letter ‘T’. Let’s see how many different names we can come up with! We have arrived in the Amazon Rainforest
in Class 5. The children enjoyed a wonderful morning exploring facts, and researching all about life in the Amazon rainforest. They scanned QR to watch videos and listen to Amazonian music. They played with the small world provision and swapped interesting facts with each other. A fantastic start to our half term!
