Class 6
Welcome to Class 6,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all very Happy New Year. I hope you all enjoyed the festivities whilst also having some time to rest and relax over the Christmas holidays.
The range of homework brought in at the end of the Autumn Term was impressive and really showed the effort and creativity the children put into this work. I want to thank you again for all your continuing support with all the work the children do at home, including their work on reading, and learning their spellings and times tables.
The children have already settled back into school well for the Spring Term and they are showing their great enthusiasm for learning. I am excited about what we have planned for this half term and I am sure the children are going to enjoy the topics too.
Our topic this half term is ‘How could I survive in the Stone Age?’ Much of the work we will do in this half term is based around our work on The Stone Age, including our work in English, History, Science, and Art. We are also excited about the Forest Schools sessions that all children in Class 6 will take part in.
