Autumn 2

Dear Parents,

Thank you all for your continued support. Last half term was absolutely brilliant. The children were focussed, enthused and have been a constant positive presence and influence both in class and around school. We are pleased that Mrs McVittie is now back teaching class 12 as we look towards this new half term.

The next half term is filled with opportunities and experiences centred around their study of the Early Islamic Empire. We will be exploring their quest for knowledge and emulating that attitude for learning within our classrooms. As is now tradition at St George’s, the children will be creating their own Micro:Bit based games and creatin their own craft actvities for the Christmas Fair! PE this half term is Badminton which will be outside (weather permitting), please send your child with appropriate clothing on a Tuesday. As last half term, Mrs Fairhurst and Mr Horne will assisting in delivering the curriculum.
