Residentials

Residential visits are an integral part of the school’s philosophy. Preparation is thorough and the work is integrated into the curriculum. Residential visits are planned for Year 6 to go to Boreatton Park in Shropshire. In 2012 staff decided

to introduce a new residential visit for Year 5 pupils to Water Park, Coniston. Both visits take place early in the start of the Autumn Term. Our Year 2 children enjoy a residential trip for 1 night to Bibby's Farm!

The residentials have proven to have tremendous benefits to kids social and academic needs. I appreciate their is a significant cost involved with the residentials. Please pop into school and speak to a member of SLT if you find yourself struggling to pay for a particular residential. Or, if you prefer, start paying in reception to spread the costs. We can devise a payment plan to suit your needs i'm sure.

In addition to residential visits all classes attend out of school day visits each year as part of their curriculum.
